Over 300K on the last car; 302,000 kms on the current Caprice. Works like all get out, and keeps on going. Will likely get to 400K.

In 2005 I got 145,000 out of a 89 Grand Voyager.
In 2000 I got 288,829 out of a 83 Camry.
Currently have 220,000 on a 1999 Corolla.
Guess what brand of car I will get next. (You are right if you said Toyota)

I had to relocate to a different country and the carmaker was not available in the new place so I sold my car with low milleage.
If the carmaker does not have a dealer close to you it can be very difficult to get service and original parts.
Now i am leasing!

Mine too, was around the 36000 mark when I turned back in my leased vehicle. With leases being so prevolent these days, I am surprised that there aren't more in this range...

I had 120K miles which isn't a lot by today's standards but the body was starting to rust out badly and it was spending more time in the repair shop than out and I was spending more $$ than the car was worth.

A friend of mine had a Olds Cutlass Supreme that he ran for 450K miles.

I had a beat to death '85 Chevy Suburban with the 6.2l diesel that we ran up and down the east coast in the furniture business. It had 470k miles and the engine still had not a wrench on it. The inside, and outside of the beast was another story altogether! I suspect it is still running provided the new owner has not broken the last remaining seat!

My philosophy on a car is I'm not going to pretty it up and place it on the mantel on display; I'm going to use it. If something breaks or wears out, I'll replace it. My previous car was over 220,000 miles..........
